Meet Our First Cohort: 17 Interns Wrap Up Their First Term with Dialectica Canada

This summer, Dialectica Canada's first ever intern cohort came to a successful close. Over the past couple of months, 17 interns worked within the Client Service Team, supporting multiple units across our Montreal operations. As the term wraps up, it's worth taking a moment to look back on what this inaugural run actually looked like.

Building the Playbook From Scratch

Being part of a "first cohort" is a unique experience. There was no established playbook to hand someone on day one, and no prior intern class to offer advice. The structure, the activities, and the overall rhythm of the experience were built in real time, alongside this group. Looking back, that collaborative effort clearly paid off.

"My internship at Dialectica has been an incredibly valuable experience. I've learned so much from my manager and my mentor, and having people I could turn to has been one of the most valuable parts of it,” said Hacer Dila Polat, Montreal intern. “Being part of the first cohort made the experience feel especially unique... I'm very grateful for everything I've learned and the connections I've made along the way."

Real Growth, Real Impact

From day one, this group stood out. Beyond their day-to-day contributions to our consulting workflows, they brought a vibrant presence and energy to the office that was hard to miss and easy to appreciate.

"Honestly, working with interns has been the highlight of my year. They showed up on day one with so many questions, eager to learn, and completely threw themselves into the work. Now, they're handling complex tasks like absolute pros,” reflected Can Sinman, who managed a team of interns. “Seeing them transition into confidently tackling huge, complex projects has been amazing... It just makes me really proud and incredibly excited to see where they go next.”

Setting the Tone for What's Next

Being the pioneer group means setting the tone for everyone who follows. If this cohort, and the lasting impression they left on their teams, is any indication, the future of the program is in great hands.

“Thank you to all 17 of you for making this first run one worth building on,” concluded Theodoros Konstantopoulos, General Manager, North America. “We'll miss having you around, and here's to the cohorts that follow.”
