Business Intelligence Intern
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Business Intelligence Intern to support our data-driven initiatives. This role offers hands-on experience in data analysis, reporting, and visualization while working with real business challenges. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and eager to learn about business intelligence tools and methodologies.
Ultimately, you will enhance our business intelligence system and processes to help us make better decisions.
As a Business Intelligence (BI) Intern in Dialectica you will:
Work with Product to translate business needs to technical specifications, be a hands-on contributor, creating visualizations and reports in Tableau. Maintain and improve existing BI systems. Develop and execute database queries and conduct ad hoc analyses. Create and update technical documentation
Requirements
The ideal candidate would possess:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for data.
- Advanced SQL knowledge.
- Familiarity with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.)
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- BSc/BA in Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
Nice to have
- Demonstrated experience in data modeling, ETL, data warehousing is a plus
- Exposure to Python for data analysis
